Dudley Kasibante and Partners provided both Project Management and Quantity Surveying Services. The services comprised coordinating activities of the entire project process from the survey of the building, preparation of drawings, tender documentation, prequalification of contractors, Tender evaluation, contract negotiation and supervision of the construction contract. This major contract over $23.5M involved rehabilitation and modernization of the Short Tower (10 storey) and the Tall Tower (20 storeys). All the existing finishes were replaced with new high end finishes. New high-tech electrical and mechanical installations were installed throughout the building including modern structured cabling and very high tech lifts and air conditioning.The construction contract was signed in August 2000 and the works completed in March 2004.

Dudley Kasibante & Partners were appointed as quantity surveyors on this prestigious 5-Star Hotel project commissioned in preparation for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) held in Kampala in 2007.The Construction Cost for the project was US$30million and construction consists of 59 presidential suites finished with very high quality finishes and amenities together with associated services and external works.

The Project was executed in two phases.Phase I of the works entailed fixing of plasterboard partitioning on the first floor and Second floor of the main building and the Annex Building.Phase II of the works entailed fixing of glazed aluminium and plasterboard partitioning, casting of concrete walls to the Strong Room, fixing of plasterboard ceiling and teller stations on the Ground Floor of the Main Building with a floor area 324m2.
